Dr. Jonathan Tsang

Dr. Jonathan Tsang understands the importance of having healthy teeth and a confident smile. He is committed to providing excellent care and the highest standards of excellence in dentistry to all his patients.

Dr. Tsang attended the University of British Columbia where he studied mathematics before heading to Philadelphia to study at Temple University School of Dentistry.  Upon graduating, Dr. Tsang returned to his home town of Abbotsford to open his dental practice .  

Dr. Tsang holds a Master’s degree in Comprehensive Oral Implantology from the University of Jacksonville. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID).  Certification by the ABOI/ID attests to the fact that Dr. Tsang has demonstrated knowledge, ability, and proficiency in implant dentistry through a rigorous examination process. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Canadian Dental Association, and the British Columbia Dental Association.

Dr. Tsang is deeply passionate about implant dentistry. He completes over 100 hours of continuing education each year and participates in several advanced study clubs. In 2011, he graduated from the AAID MaxiCourse—one of the most respected international training programs in implant dentistry—and now serves as a mentor and co-director of the Vancouver AAID MaxiCourse, training dentists in advanced surgical techniques. He was also formerly part-time faculty at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry.

Using his training to give back to the community has always been of importance.  Dr. Tsang has provided dental community outreach in Canada, the United States, and even as far as Haiti.
